NRM Whole Barley-20kg

A versatile, high-energy NZ grown grain suitable for a wide range of livestock. NRM Whole Barley can be fed whole to poultry, sheep, and goats, and with appropriate processing makes an excellent energy supplement for horses, cattle, camelids, and pigs.

Feeding Guidelines

• Poultry, sheep & goats — can be fed whole
• Horses, cattle, camelids & pigs — requires processing (rolling, crushing, or steam flaking) before feeding
• Not a complete feed — should be offered as a supplement alongside a balanced diet appropriate for the animal type
• Pigs & poultry — ensure adequate protein is available as part of the diet
• Horses, camelids & ruminants — always ensure adequate pasture, silage, or hay is available

General Advice

• Introduce new feeds gradually
• Ensure clean, fresh water is always available
